Huskies Down Concord, 4-1

The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team defeated the Concord Lions, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon.

The Huskies got on the board first with a goal at the 13 minute mark by Lauren Hess (East Greenville, PA). The assist came from Eileen Alexander (East Northport, NJ) off an indirect kick. The Lions answered back at 34th minute with a goal by Kate Arementrout (West Virginia), making it a 1-1 tie at the half.

In the second half Ashley Brucker (Blairstown, NJ) scored the first two goals, one of which was assisted by Kelly Modes (Langhorne, PA). Modes secured the win with the last goal off of a cross from Hess.

The Huskies move to 3-0-0 on the season and will host Seton Hill on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
